Ganoderma lucidium immünomodülatör oluşumu, antiaterosklerotik, anti-inflamatuvar, analjezik, kemopreventif, antitümör, radyoprotektif, uyutucu, antibakteriyak, anti virüs (anti-HIV dahil), hipolipidemiz, antifibrotik, hepatoprotectif, diyabetik, antioksidatif ve radikal temizleme, yaşlılığı önleme, hipoglisemik anti ülser özellikler dahil olmak üzere çok sayıda farmakolojik etkilere sahip olduğu bildirilmiştir.[Referanslar]
